MYHERITAGE.COM ADDS MILLIONS OF NEW RECORDS

MyHeritage.com continually updates their record collections by adding new records to the eight billion records they now have online.

Broadmoor Branch of the Shreve Memorial Library has added this subscription website to the services offered to their genealogy research patrons.  The site can be accessed free at the library using their computers and can also be accessed from home remotely using your home computer.  Instructions for remotely accessing this website can be found HERE.

Esther and I have been learning to use MyHeritage for our research and believe it will be a useful new tool for our genealogy/family history toolbox.

FEBRUARY GENCOM MEETING INFORMATION

The program Ernie Roberson presented at our GENCOM February meeting was a fantastic and entertaining meeting.  We had a record turnout and ran out of the handouts about accessing MyHeritage - Library Edition remotely.  MyHeritage is a new service provided by Broadmoor Library to help us with our genealogy research.  If you did not get a handout click HERE for a pdf file you may view and print out.
