FEBRUARY GENCOM MEETING INFORMATION

The program Ernie Roberson presented at our GENCOM February meeting was a fantastic and entertaining meeting.  We had a record turnout and ran out of the handouts about accessing MyHeritage - Library Edition remotely.  MyHeritage is a new service provided by Broadmoor Library to help us with our genealogy research.  If you did not get a handout click HERE for a pdf file you may view and print out.

Happy ancestor hunting.

GENCOM'S JANUARY AND FEBRUARY MEETINGS

GENCOM has great meetings planned for January and February.  Our guest for each meeting had articles in the Shreveport Times this weekend.

GENCOM'S January meeting will feature Gary Calligas presenting a program encouraging us to start writing and recording our family stories. Mr Calligas had a great article in Thursday's Shreveport Times at this url: http://www.shreveporttimes.com/…/new-years-resolu…/21480829/

The February meeting will feature Ernie Roberson presenting a program about Shreveport at the Turn of the Century. There was an article telling about Ernie's passion for Shreveport Preservation in Saturday's Shreveport Times at this url: http://www.shreveporttimes.com/…/artifacts-preser…/21542701/
