UPDATED MILITARY RECORDS ON FAMILYSEARCH.ORG AND ANCESTRY.COM

There have been only two record collections that have been updated recently.  But, they are important in searching for your military ancestors.

FamilySearch has a record collection of the Louisiana First Registration Draft Cards between 1940 and 1945.   These are draft registration cards covering a special classification of individuals born between February 17, 1897 to 1928.

Ancestry has a record collection of registers of U.S. military personnel stationed in the United States. The majority of this collection covers U.S. Army and Navy personnel, though lists for the Air Force, Marine Corp, National Guard, and the Reserves are included as well.
