MOUSE SCANNER
A new toy for us technology nerds - a mouse scanner!
I saw this in Wal-Mart and could not believe what the package said this little tool would do, so I went home and googled it. Check out these two links with information about this new mouse scanner:
It will do everything that the ad and the video say that it will. It will scan and stitch images as you scan and has a great OCR feature that will scan text and import into Word. The mouse function has some problems but I found you could use your own mouse when both are plugged in. This mouse scanner plugs into a usb port and requires no batteries.
Both Toni Turk and I have purchased one and can provide information if you have any questions. Wal-Mart has these on the shelf for $89 and Amazon sells them for $94.
