The Joneses are in Dallas this weekend to attend the Dallas Genealogical Society's 2013 Summer Institute. The presentation is "Bits of Yesterday: Using Maps and Other Records to Complete Your Family Story," with keynote speakers Pamela Boyer and Richard Sayre.
We are going to learn how to take advantage of maps, land and other records. Identify ways to take a fresh approach or explore new avenues of research. Then hear ways to tell our family's story for future generations.
We will bring back many new ideas to share with our GENCOM group.
